Here are some pictures of the snowboards that I collaborated on with Elan Snowboards. THese pictures are from the Interstyle Trade show where the made their debut to the industry buyers. I am so happy that they have been so well received so far and they look and ride INSANE!!

Aloha Everyone!!

I Hope that everyone is having a great week so far!
Chris and I are still up at our Telluride Colorado studio and having a lot of fun getting in some snowboarding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and sledding and playing with the dogs! And of course, lots of art and creating for our upcoming Spring tours!

I am so happy to announce that we have just released the first two matted prints from my "Aloha Mountains Collection"!

The first two will be "Mountain Bear" and "Snow Bunny"
Both prints are available in all 3 sizes as well as all 3 sizes framed!
As with all of my matted prints, these are the highest quality giclee prints on 100% post consumer recycled sugar cane paper, then matted, signed and shipped to you in a protective cover ready to frame in one of our frames made on the North Shore of Oahu or any frame of your choice as they are all standard sizes.

Happy Monday!!!!
I hope you are all enjoying the start of the new week and that you had a great weekend!
Chris and I are currently working at our studio in the mountains of Telluride Colorado for the next couple of months. We love to come up here, get in some snowboarding, snow shoeing, hiking and hot meals by the fire.

While I have been so busy getting my studio back up, i painted this smaller original right away at the kitchen table as I was missing painting so much since we had shows into mid January and then a bunch of travel and other work stuff, I felt like I had not gotten the chance to paint in a few weeks!!

I just posted this new original on my website here and I ship worldwide!

Aloha Everyone from Beautiful Telluride Colorado!



Chris and I got up to our studio here in Telluride about a week ago and have been busy catching up on work but have had a few fun Blue Bird days on the mountain!

Chris, The Captain, filmed this short of us riding in Prospect Bowl. He then edited, composed the music, recorded the music and put this together for us to share.

Hope you are all enjoying the week, we are stoked because it looks like we will be getting a few feet of fresh powder in the next few days! Stay tuned for more fun in the mountains!!

I am so happy to announce that we have gotten our matted print frames back up on the website and are ready to take your orders and ship worldwide!

We make all of the matted print frames right here on the North Shore of Oahu with our great team up in the hills. Each frame is handmade utilizing as much recycled and reclaimed materials as we can by real people who make their livings on Oahu's Famous Seven Mile Miracle.

For the present selection of frames, we standardized the coloring a bit so you would have a much better idea of exactly what you were ordering. We still offer our "Artist Choice" one of a kind colorings and styles as well. With the 6 new selections that we have just added, this is the perfect compliment to either my art or your family photos or you favorite artists prints.

Heather Brown Art News Update January 5, 2014

Aloha Everyone!

I wanted to thank the great staff at Greenroom Gallery Hawaii in Waikiki for hosting such a great show for me and The Captain  on Friday night! We had such a fun show, I have attached a few pictures from the show below.

I also released a brand new Limited Edition Giclee on Canvas and Artist Proof series "Mountain Bear" at the show that is now available for sale!

"Mountain Bear" is my 3rd installment in my new Mountain Snow series but interestingly enough, it is actually the first piece I started last year when we were staying up at our studio in Telluride Colorado for the winter. I had a tough time finishing the piece for a while and it hung on my studio wall for almost a year unfinished until I could finally figure out some details that I wanted to see, now it is quite easily one of my favorite pieces yet! Let me know what you think!

Aloha and Hau'oli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year)!!

Can you believe it is already 2014!!! Wow, 2013 was a blur but I had such a great year with lots of shows, travel and fun times with family and friends, I am looking forward to an even greater 2014 and hope you are too!

Thanks to the staff at The Wyland Gallery in Waikiki and everyone who came out to my show there on the 30th! I had a great time and the show was a great sold out success! Mahalo Nui Loa!!

I released two new Limited Edition pieces at the show and they are now available for purchase.

The first is the sister piece to "North Shore Rainbow" that I released just about a month ago, this one is titled "South Shore Rainbow" (I know, I am not the best at naming pieces! ha ha)

My second release from the show is "Midnight in Waikiki" I always love painting in these deep dark hues and contrasting with brighter highlights. I painted this piece a while back for our house so it has been hanging on our walls for a few months and I really like the feeling it gives me when I pass by it and my eye catches the bright birds or later in the day as you could feel the moods changing with the changing afternoon light.
