Heather Brown Original Art Available!
Aloha!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We had a great time last night at The 11th Annual John Kelly Awards put on by The Surfrider Foundation of Oahu. Great music, food, people and a great place to get some holiday shopping done with their extensive silent auctions! Mahalo to Surfrider and everyone who contributed to such a nice evening in Waimea Valley!
I have just placed some originals on my website for sale. We have been doing a major studio and workshop clean up and some fun things always pop up when you do this (after 3 years of not! ha ha!!)
There is always a lot of interest in commercial art, the art that makes up the world we see each and every day, the art that sells products, ideas or just looks fun. New Trucker Hats from Heather Brown, High Tide and Hawaii Aloha Company
Aloha!
Happy Sunday Funday from the North Shore of Oahu in the beautiful Islands of Hawai'i!
We have just released some new trucker hats for Summer 2013 and we are really stoked on them!

The first is a logo design I did for a great little company that my husband started with some of our good friends called Hawaii Aloha Company. Their mission is to produce Hawai'i souveniers that are actually made in Hawai'i using the most eco friendly methods and reclaimed and recycled materials whenever possible by people who actually live in Hawai'i , get paid fair wages and receive health insurance and a nurturing work environment. The Trucker hats and tees I produced for them is just the tip of the iceberg, stay tuned to check out more of their great creations!
The second new release is of one of my favorite images that I have painted called "Pipe Dreams". In collaboration with High Tide we put a cool distressed feel to this image to give it that great old feeling right from the start.
And the 3rd new release is of my little Aloha Bird. We made a bunch of these stickers for my last Japan tours and I fell in love with it so much during that time that we made the hats as soon as we returned home!

Heather Brown Releases First in A New Series of Vintage Printed Tees with High Tide Surf Art!

We are so happy to announce that Heather Brown has just released the first in a new series of vintage print tees for the High Tide Surf Art Line!
The first tee is a powerwashed (enzyme treatment that simulates over 40 normal washes) blank made with 100% cotton in the USA and printed with 100% waterbased inks directly at Heather Brown's studio on The North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
"Noseride Surf" is an iconic surfing image that has been photographed the world over, painted by few and perfected by the Godmother of Modern Surf Art herself, Heather Brown.

Pint Glasses by Heather Brown for your Spring and Summer Fun!
Aloha!
Well we have finally seen some sun up on the North Shore of Oahu yesterday and today and my mind is starting to really wander it's way into Spring and Summer! ALthough we sacrifice some better surf in the summer, I love the warm sand, the hotter and drier days and the crystal clear warmer waters that summer brings.
Spring and Summer are also the best entertaining times whether you are just entertaining you and your partners or families or entertaining the whole block. We just released an edition of 4 new 16 ounce glasses to liven up your entertaining, your dorm room, office or just your cabinet space in your home. Chris and I generally pick up a glass on most adventures we take which makes for great memories and people love them when they come visit (also makes it a lot easier to not mix up peoples drinks)
Just recently we decided to make a limited edition of our own with art that I produced for High Tide as well as some of my more recognizable works. They came out great and we have been so happy to be using them in our home with our families and friends. They are all now available online on my website as well as at The Greenroom Gallery in Waikiki. They can be purchased singularly or in sets of 4 as well. I hope you are all enjoying your day and will enjoy the new glasses to add a little extra color to your spaces.

Some New for You by Heather Brown and High Tide
Aloha!
I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start! It has been a bit of a damp, windy start to the day here, winter is definitely knocking at the door, and just in time, we received some great sherpa lined zip hoodies from our printers yesterday! These feature our classic High Tide Logo and are unisex sizing from x-small-X-large.
We also received a cool experimental hoodie where I mixed two of my more popular girl's tees into 1 hoodie design, the Surf Girl Hoodie. Perfect for the chilly morning surf checks or just lounging around the house on a lazy Saturday!

Original Art by Heather Brown with Diamond Head for Charity
Aloha!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you were able to take advantage of the 3 day holiday if you are in the US! I have been busy getting ready for two upcoming shows this month on The Big Island of Hawai'i on September 16 at The Wyland Gallery in Kona and on September 22 at Mono in Venice Beach, CA.
With the last hurricane that went through the East Coast there were many people and communities in the north Atlantic coast that went weeks without electricity and had major floodings. This was especially hard on the thousands of families that have been homeless because of the current economic situation in our country as well as other matters. With these types of tragedies, the children are almost always hit the hardest, so I will be donating the proceeds of the sale of this original 16x20 acrylic on canvas to the charity

Heather Brown Solo Art Show at Wyland Gallery Waikiki on May 2, 2011
Aloha,
I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! It has been nice up here on the North Shore. We spent most of yesterday on the water then to the yard for some needed yard work into the beautiful sunset.
Today is filled with interviews and photo shoots and luckily it looks like it will be yet another postcard perfect Hawaiian day, there is even a little surf popping up!
I will be having a solo show at They Wyland Gallery in Waikiki on Lewers St on May 2, 2011 from 6pm-10pm. I will be releasing 1 new published giclee and will have many new originals on hand as well as some other new surprises! I hope to see you there if you can make it, shows at The Wyland Galleries are always filled with great art and loads of fun.

Heather Brown New Original April 11, 2011
Good Morning and Happy Monday!
Here is a New Original that I just added to my website.
This is original #587 titled "Sweet Green"
About a year ago I was experimenting with the Birds and did some "off registration" work with them that I really loved. Chris was asking me to paint some waves in the same style for our house and this is one smaller originals that I completed in this style. I am really stoked on them and hope you all like them too!

Surf Art Line High Tide Introduces New Ladies Tees by Heather Brown
Aloha All!
First off, thank you so much for the overwhelming response to the original art for the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami relief. Sorry to anyone who was not able to get it, it sold in the first 15 minutes! There will be more, I promise!
The newest High Tide Tees are in for the ladies! There are 2 new designs in a few different colors. I chose my favorite blank tee in the world to print them on and since we finished them, I have been wearing one constantly! They are all 100% cotton printed with all water based inks which give the print a feel like it is not even there.
Here are some pictures, they are all available on my website right now and will soon be at select retailers, if you can't find them locally, tell your local surf shop, boutique, etc to contact me and start selling the High Tide line!

New Surf Art High Tide Men's Tees by Heather Brown!
Aloha!
My husband and I started a small co-op a few months ago for surf art called "High Tide" We will be focusing mostly on apparel with some other items to come later. The line will also include some other special guest artists that we are just getting things rolling with right now. Some early pieces are starting to roll in from our printers and we are so excited to start sharing them with the world. Here are some of the new Men's tees for High Tide by Heather Brown that are currently available on my website and shortly will be available at selected retailers worldwide.
