Then my short tour will wrap up on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at The Heather Brown Gallery in Daikanyama, Tokyo!

Heather Brown Surf Art Show at The Wyland Gallery in Haleiwa November 12, 2016

Happy ALOHA Friday!!
So excited to have a show tomorrow, Saturday November 12, 2016 from 3-6 pm, at The Wyland Gallery in Haleiwa located in the North Shore marketplace in historic Haleiwa Town!
I will be releasing a couple of new pieces as well as bringing lots of new original art created for the show! As always, shows are FREE to come and enjoy, if you have had your eyes on some art, this could be the perfect day to scoop it up! Mahalo nui loa for all of your continued support and I look forward to seeing you at the show!

Heather Brown Art for the 2016 Surfrider Foundation John Kelly Environmental Achievement Awards

Stoked and Honored to be asked to create the main artwork for the Surfrider Foundation - Oahu Chapter annual John Kelly Environmental Achievement Awards again this year! This is always a most favorite event each Vans Triple Crown of Surfing season on the North Shore of Oahu and it help what we all love the most, the Ocean and our Earths waterways!! This year I was asked to create the art based on the filling in the statement "Long Live ........." I chose to paint the beautiful Ka'ena Point with the stunning Layman Albatross that make this special place their season home for breeding. This goes with the Surfrider Foundation national theme of #longlivethebeach

Happy ALOHA Friday!!

Tonight is the full harvest moon so it is an extra special way to kickoff your weekend of fun! The full moon over Waikiki reminds me of one of the pieces I created entitled "Midnight in Waikiki" Two easy going birds enjoying the sound of the surf, views of the iconic Duke Kahanamoku Statue, the bustling tourists all while Diamond Head fills their background sky. If I could, this is how I would spend my evening tonite watching the harvest moon.

Preparing for Haleiwa Arts Festival 2016

Aloha All!

Happy to announce that I will be participating in The Haleiwa Arts Festival again this year, this will actually mark my 10th year doing HAF!

Haleiwa Arts Festival will be on both Saturday and Sunday July 16,17, 2016. Saturday the event runs from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. You can find out more info on their website Haleiwa Arts Festival

I have been painting lots of new originals for the show and will also have prints, giclees, hats, wood prints and more! I am sharing a booth with my husband, Chris Viverito ( The Captain Surfs) and he is bringing lots of great new art too. We are located near all the food vendors, so come on over and say ALOHA!!
