Ever since I was in high school and would see pictures of the massive surf on the North Shore of Oahu I was completely drawn to Pipeline in particular. With Pipeline's big steep walls, barrels you could drive a bus through, stiff spray coming off the lips as the trade winds groom these ocean beasts to perfection and the spit coming from deep inside the waves energy as it hurls itself to the beach.
WOW!! This was my first published piece I painted of Pipeline. After doing many etchings, serigraphs and paining studies of this seven mile miracle wonder, I finally decided to publish this piece back in 2007.
12 years later and we are now introducing Pipeline again as a Limited Release Deckled Edge Print on beautiful cold press matte paper. You can get these rolled (for easy and cheap shipping and you can frame as you please) or we offer a black and white float mounted frame option that really make the piece pop.
