I hope that everyone has been enjoying a fun Holiday Season! Santa brought us lots of waves and beautiful weather this Christmas here on The North Shore and it was great to hang out with friends and family and share good times, good food and some great home made gifts!

I am so happy to announce the release of my first ever book on my artwork! "The Art of Heather Brown" is now available for pre ordering and the book itself is expected to start shipping in February 2014.

The Art of Heather Brown book is a retrospective on my art career over the past 10 years. This elegantly crafted book took us a year to put together with the hard work of the gang over at Black Sand Publishing, Chris and myself paying special attention to every detail. Consistent with our values, each book is printed and bound with eco friendly sustainable materials.

We are releasing the book in 3 different versions:

1. Limited Edition "Diamond Head Palms"
2. Limited Edition "Anahulu Bridge"
3. Open Edition Hardcover

All book interior contents are exactly the same.

The two limited edition versions are both editions of only 500 Worldwide!

The "Diamond Head Palms" Limited Edition Art of Heather Brown book comes with a very exclusive limited edition giclee on canvas of "Diamond Head Palms" inserted into the books dust cover.

The "Anahulu Bridge" Limited Edition Art of Heather Brown book comes with a very exclusive limited edition giclee on canvas of "Anahulu Bridge" inserted into the books dust cover.

When creating the Art of Heather Brown book, I decided that I wanted to equally represent my love for both "town" and "country" with the covers (Town = Honolulu, Country = North Shore) so we released two different versions of the cover.

I am so proud of this book and it was such a pleasure to get to walk down memory lane and see the past 10 years of my art, my shows and most of all to see the pictures of friends, fans, collectors and all the people who have helped support my art career over the past 10 years! I wanted to wish everyone the Happiest Holiday Season! 2013 has been another great year filled with making art, travelling the world to share my art and spread as much Aloha as I can, having fun surfs with The Captain and finding my second paradise in the mountains! I hope that 2013 treated you especially well and we can all look forward positively to an even better 2014!

Mahalo for all of your continued supprt over the past 10 years, it is because of this support that I know that my goal of bringing smiles to peoples faces and Aloha to their hearts is not being missed. Hawaii Art of Heather Brown. New Limited Edition Releases on Canvas!

Aloha and Happy Winter!! Today is officially the first day of Winter which means tomorrow the days start to get longer again!!

I hope that everyone is enjoying a pleasant Holiday Season, we have been having a lot of fun and been busy getting orders out around the World, so I think there will be a lot of Aloha under the Christmas Trees in the next few days!

I just released a few new Limited Edition Giclees on canvas and a new Open Edition on canvas at this past weekends Annual Surf Art Show on The North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

They are now available online, but please note: Giclees take 3-5 weeks for delivery from order date, so these would not make it in time for Christmas.


"Hawaiian Flowers" is an Open Edition Giclee on Stretched canvas.  Hawaii Flowers comes in one size (the size of the original piece) 16"x20"
"Hawaiian Flowers" is a piece that was inspired a couple of weeks ago when The Captain and I had a picnic lunch at one of our favorite little spots. This is the vision I kept from that day and I started painting it as soon as we got back to the studio.

 Rainbows are a way of life almost every day here on The North Shore of Oahu, and this one was inspired by an afternoon at Backdoor Pipeline early in the 2013 surf season when it seemed as Hawai'i was putting on a show for all of us that were lucky enough to be present at the time. This whole December has felt similar to this day, sharing our postcard moments with the rest of the world that populates the seven mile miracle each Triple Crown of Surfing Season. This is the beauty we stand up for each and everyday so that future generations can enjoy more of the same.

As some of you may know, I have been designing a line for Rip Curl, "Heather Brown for Rip Curl" for about 6 years now. Each year I paint 4-6 new pieces to be used in making the line. "Surf Sisters" was originally commissioned by Rip Curl to be featured on Spring/Summer 2014 products.
