Just wanted to post a quick blog. The Captain and I were lucky enough to be invited to Michael Franti's show lat night in Telluride Colorado. This was my first time seeing him live and WHOA!!!! what a great show and an even better human being. I was so struck by his words and stories between songs and how personal he was (not only did he bring people on stage with him and come out on the floor and dance with everyone, he stayed after the show to greet anyone who felt like talking to him.
When we went to a quieter place with him, it was great to hear his reasons for making music are so similar to my reasons for making art. In the end, we all want to make people smile and have their hearts fill with ALOHA.
