The Boys!

Aloha All,

A great friend of ours, Keri Cooper, is a super talented photographer on the Island of Kaua'i. http://weddingsinkauai.com/
She was also nice enough to pet sit for us when we were in the Maldives. Wile she was here, she also snapped a bunch of great photos of Marley and Brian (our two dogs)

Surf Art Line High Tide Introduces New Ladies Tees by Heather Brown

Aloha All!

First off, thank you so much for the overwhelming response to the original art for the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami relief. Sorry to anyone who was not able to get it, it sold in the first 15 minutes! There will be more, I promise!

The newest High Tide Tees are in for the ladies! There are 2 new designs in a few different colors. I chose my favorite blank tee in the world to print them on and since we finished them, I have been wearing one constantly! They are all 100% cotton printed with all water based inks which give the print a feel like it is not even there.

Here are some pictures, they are all available on my website right now and will soon be at select retailers, if you can't find them locally, tell your local surf shop, boutique, etc to contact me and start selling the High Tide line!

Art Sale Donation for Japan Relief Effort

Aloha Everyone,

What a week! After our own personal recovery from jet lag, we witnessed live on TV real devastation from a country and a people  that we hold so close to our hearts. Heartbreaking images from Japan had us in tears through out the night followed by fears of what was coming to our own Islands. Luckily we had very minor effects in the Islands (relatively speaking of course) and personally Chris, the pets and I live on very high ground so personally our safety was not compromised and we obviously had no damage. The last couple of days the news and images of this natural disaster is almost too much to take. I would like to take a first stand at some relief help by offering up a brand new original that I just painted in the past days for sale with all proceeds going directly to the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Relief fund through the American Red Cross. You too can not only purchase this piece of original art and help, but you can donate monetarily as well right here:

Surf Artist Heather Brown will be Donating all Proceeds of the sale of this Original "Wave Of Peace" to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami relief fund.
The original is Heather Brown Original #510, "Wave of Peace" it is 10"x10" acrylic on canvas and the price will be $800 plus shipping and handling ($50 in the USA, $100 Internationally and free shipping to anyone in Japan)

Please help out in any way you can, I will try to keep offering up more specials to directly help this effort as well as making my own personal contributions via American Red Cross.

Aloha Nui Loa to the Beautiful People of Japan, keep up your strength and positive thoughts and feelings.

New Limited Edition Silkscreen Print Released "Namotu" by Heather Brown

Aloha All!

I know I have been slack about posting, but we were on our 3 week honeymoon in the Maldives, and the surf was too much fun! We are now back and right back in action, just before I left I finished this edition of silkscreen prints called "Namotu"
Last year Chris and I were fortunate enough to spend a few weeks on Namotu Island in Fiji. We surfed fun waves everyday in warm tropical waters with fish jumping all around and had the best time, not too mention how great the crew on Namotu was too!
I gained so much inspiration from that trip and it came out in many paintings that I have done since. I was also really inspired to create a simple silkscreen image to capture my feeling of the trip, this is what I came up with. I hope you all like it! The edition size is limited to only 50 standard limited edition prints and 8 Hand Highlighted Artist Proof prints. They are also available in 100% reclaimed wooden frames made right here in my studio on the North Shore of Oahu using reclaimed wood from old North Shore beach homes that have been torn down.
